What happens when I'm not in when my order will be delivered?Updated 3 months ago
If you’re not home at the time of delivery, the courier/postal service will follow their standard procedure:
Attempted delivery - The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your address.
Notification - If no one is available, you’ll receive a delivery notice or tracking update. This notification will either be via sms or email.
Next steps - Depending on the courier/postal service, your parcel may be:
- Left in a safe place (if suitable).
- Delivered to a neighbour.
- Redirected to a local collection point or depot.
- Rescheduling - You can use your tracking details to arrange a new delivery time or collect your order from the location provided.
Your parcel will never be returned without the courier first attempting these steps
